Earned Schedule
When you try to measure schedule performance it gets tricky. The EVM metrics don’t work as well for schedule as they do for cost. To address this, a modified approach using ‘Earned Schedule’ has been proposed, and its use is noted as an emerging practice on page 233 of The PMBOK® Guide.
